Hunter Tylo Bio: Epilogue

What might the new millennium bring for Hunter?

There is no real answer to this question but to speculate on the next few years at least. No doubt the next few years (until Katya turns three and will hopefully be declared cancer free) will see Hunter and Michael campaigning strongly about Retinoblastoma issues, amongst other pursuits. Hunter is contracted to Bold for a little while longer yet, so that will provide stable work, and Michael may just return to the daytime arena also (he has some movies out on video currently and in 2000 to keep some publicity going). Hunter's movie is due out in the first quarter of 2000, as is her book, so there will be a lot of publicity to pursue in the first half of the year. This could be the catalyst for, not just greater awareness of retinoblastoma and pregnancy discrimination in the workplace, but her career, which one can only speculate on here.

After the Bold role is complete, or in addition to it, it would be good to see Hunter's career move in other directions. If not a move to prime time television - where the pay per episode can be more than what Hunter earns from Bold in a year - then the highest level possible would be nice: movies. Hunter has had some experience in movies (both earlier on in her career and recently) and there is one scenario we would all like to see in this lifetime. In fact there are a couple of scenarios that would be perfect and one is to see Christopher Reeve walk and reprise his role as Superman. This has little to do with Hunter, though, so the other far more likely situation would be a Bond girl role for her (or at least the role of "Lara Croft" in a movie adaptation of Tomb Raider). Some might say these would both be bad career moves, but let us explore them briefly anyway.

Both a Bond girl and "Lara Croft" role would suit an intelligent and beautiful lady, but she would have to be able to handle action scenes. In the current Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough, "James Bond 007" has a bevy of beautiful and intelligent ladies to find companionship with. These ladies are portrayed by Europe's most respected and famous movie stars, as well as Denise Richards for example (a young beautiful and intelligent American actress). No longer is the Bond girl considered to be a bimbo and she will go on to be famous for decades to come through this role. The "Lara Croft" role is equally an intelligent and beautiful character to play. She may be just a video game character in her current incarnation but is wildly popular the world over, and a movie adaptation might suit Hunter for this role also. Whichever seems best, if any, she may need to do this soon.

With age discrimination rife in Hollywood (like pregnancy discrimination in the work place), Hunter needs to pick up big roles soon, as she nears the big 4-0. A lot of popular Hollywood actresses that are aged near or over 40 are being overlooked for big lead roles in popular films of today. People like Teri Hatcher are given such roles (she was in Goldeneye) because of their youth and extreme beauty. Hunter's exquisite beauty may just prevent her from experiencing such age discrimination, though, (we all do not want to see yet another lawsuit). Such sexy and popular characters would give her a new level of fame to be able to discuss the issues she wants to publicize more (like Retinoblastoma). It is therefore hoped then that the next few years, and hopefully decades, will bring the rewards, such as big movie roles, that Hunter so richly deserves.

I do not have access to a clairvoyant so I can only speculate, but at least my theory is what most fans will be most pleased to see actually happen - maybe God will see fit to grant our wishes one day soon. So we may not know the future but we have learned from the past. If there is one thing I have learned over the years, from life and studying the lives of celebrities, and writing this mini-biography for example, it is the following:

Existence is cruel but existence is not cruel. You were chosen to exist, so grow to be inspired by it and help your fellow human in some way. It does not matter if your help is small or if it is large, time will remember your efforts, possibly for many millennia to come. Whatever you do will make for a better existence for all. Remember that with every technological, medical, and scientific breakthrough we are faced with benefits and problems, so there will always be boundless opportunities to help your fellow human. Problems may seem impossible to solve but with the existence of a problem there will always be a cause, which you can and must find because it exists to be found. Ultimately then, existence comes down to, not what life can give you but, what you can give life!

Now I'm not going to explain this riddle but I will leave you with the following guide. Thanks again for reading my thoughts in this presentation, God Bless, and Happy New Millennium to you, your family, and your descendants!

A Simple Guide to Life

As The World Turns, every day, we must remember that this is no stage rehearsal and that we only have One Life To Live.
Whether you live or work on a Sunset Beach or in a General Hospital, or if you are Young and Restless (as I am even with All My Children) then be also Bold and Beautiful throughout your life and career.
Remember that throughout all the Days of Our Lives there will be ups and downs but let God and this advice be your Guiding Light in life.
Above all, follow not just this advice but follow your Passions, otherwise you are just living in Another World!
