Hunter is married!

Yay! Congrats!!!

December 9th, 2009:

Although I was hoping to leave this news alone for a bit longer for her privacy, there's no point now that people know and will read more this week. Here's some news that may surprise you a bit if you do happen to be unaware, or might put a smile on your face if you have heard but aren't sure whether or not to believe it.

I am pleased to inform Hunter's fans that she got married just over a week ago!! The incredibly lucky guy is Gersson Archila. I would like to congratulate Hunter and Gersson and I wish them both much happiness!

So I guess I should now refer to my goddess Hunter as Mrs Archila :) I'm sure her professional name will stay the same though.

Congrats Hunter! Although I think you're quite a wasically wabbit, as usual, you know I love you and that you have my support as always!!

Fans can post their messages to HT in this forum topic if they like.

Hunter promotes drink. Fan annoyance at B&B

November 18th, 2009:

MC2

In recent news, Hunter has signed on for a promotional campaign for the Beverage Plus "MC2" energy drink. She joins several other celebrities that have entered into celebrity endorsement and appearance/promotions agreements to promote the drink across the country. The company also has plans to distribute its products in up to 130 countries. This could be some awesome promotion for Hunter herself.

B&B

Where Hunter's job is concerned, there has been plenty of criticism of B&B in forums lately from fans that have tuned out consistently this year. This time it is because fans are noticing false spoilers on soap web sites. These are for upcoming episodes of B&B and are mentioning Hunter's character. However, when fans decide to give the show a chance for an episode or two and tune in she is a no-show. Annoyed but wise fans are now reading reviews and the forums first to see if others saw her on the show before deciding to download an episode or watch what they recorded at home.

It really is sad that a once great but now poor quality show is so desperate for ratings that they would need to trick people into watching it seems. And fans are noticing that storylines appear to be showing a different direction for characters from what the spoilers say. The writers are excessively obsessed with the "Logans" and it really is becoming quite laughable now. But hey, if that's what it takes to win a best show daytime Emmy ...

I have another rather simple "trick" the writers could employ to attract more viewers: WRITE A DECENT FREAKIN' STORYLINE FOR TAYLOR you shmucks! It's not rocket science!!!!

Hunter really is far too good for this show. She deserves a better opportunity to use her looks, talent, humor and so on to a much greater extent elsewhere. I like seeing her on B&B but I believe her talents are being wasted there. She does an excellent job always on B&B but it's still a waste of her talents.

Hunter at IWMF Awards

Photos added to gallery

November 3rd, 2009:

Hunter was out and about last week and looking totally gorgeous, as usual! She attended the 2009 International Womens Media Foundations' "Courage in Journalism" Awards on October 28, 2009 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles.

Joining her on the red carpet, as seen in the photos added to this gallery album, were Alley Mills and Sarah Brown.

More photos like these are at this album at Hunter Tylo -- The Huntress caught on camera.

An apology of sorts

To a fan base & Brad Bell

September 1st, 2009:

Continuing on from my post below, I would like to point out two facts and make an apology. This is a further insight again into the bizarre side of what Hunter has to put up with sometimes!

One

The first fact is that yes Hunter posted a beautiful (some might say "controversial") photo of herself in her Facebook this month and a rumor was soon started at a B&B forum that she would appear in a men's magazine. Any douchebag could have come up with that and someone did in a B&B forum. As I stated here yesterday, a small group of Hunter's haters decided to attack Hunter for that in a "Brooke" forum, instead of attacking the rumor-monger. Strange? You bet, because they believed it!

Their latest discussions still show that they do not understand why Hunter decided to laugh specifically at that rumor last week in response to the hatred (and about the photo controversy that lead to it). The explanation, once again, is that some of the haters actually fell for the rumors started elsewhere and they began defaming Hunter and slagging her off otherwise for nothing (it was a rumor).

That is why Hunter played it all up (with help from fans like me, I have admitted in her Facebook) and the haters are scratching their heads trying to work it out still. They are even using timelines of events as "proof" that she is to blame - for people not working it out themselves, mind you. And the haters wonder why we all laughed at them?

One of them even posted in recent days: "You can fool some of the people ... but you can't fool thinking people." Well, I will be darned because they fell for it but blamed Hunter! I am still slapping my head in complete disbelief :) Oh well, Hunter knows we all love her for who she is and not her job or any other reason and that is most important. Who cares what her haters think but cannot work out for themselves (the "thinking people" that they are and all)?

Two

The second fact relates to an apology from me. Over the weekend I took a rare opportunity to criticise those very haters via the official B&B forum, which was closing before PAID Inc took over this week. It was obviously not all of the "Brooke" and KKL fans, as common sense tells us and I explained.

When I called them out on their recent absurd behavior and uncalled for attacks on Hunter (that started the minute she posted a photo in her Facebook for her friends only, not the disturbed haters), one chose to claim that it was an entire fan base that I attacked. Now, I clearly stated that it was a "small group" and they can check their own copy if they saved it to confirm that.

It is sad that I should have to do this because of the minority but I do apologise to the better majority of the fan base in question (which I did not even name in my initial posts at the forum). As I've stated, I was not talking about the whole bang lot of them. But others, who do like Hunter as well as KKL, may have mistakenly heard differently from the "bad seeds" among them. This is a shame!

It is my understanding that B&B head honcho, Brad Bell, was responsible for that forum. I am happy to apologise to him for the disruption I caused there in a small part of it on the weekend. I also apologised there to Hunter's fans for messing up a thread of ours when a hater came in and went nuts. Having said that, I do not regret being the only male to stand up and speak out there like I did, instead of hiding in smaller hate forums where people can be bagged in a cowardly manner. I made an error in judgement in joining one such forum recently but decided to leave yesterday to show some class as Hunter would expect of us fans.

There was always much bias against Hunter's fans at the official B&B forum, so it was exactly where what I said needed to be said. Some people continue to support me on that stance and I am grateful for that (the majority in one topic thread stood up for what was right against the haters). I rarely waste my time in forums but I do actually applaud those critics that had the guts to stand up to me, believe it or not. It shows a lot of passionate support for someone they like and defend against opposing opinions like mine. We do not learn if we do not debate sometimes!

I sometimes put myself and my opinions out there under public scrutiny and I expect others to do the same whether they agree with me or not. I am glad that some did speak up over the last few days. On that note, though, let us hope the Hunter haters behave themselves now for a while (the bad element that is, not the whole lot of them). Hunter gave them no reason for their defamatory attacks by posting in her Facebook for her friends only. The Hunter haters are only humiliating the person and fan base they claim to support much more!

Hunter's big weekend!

B&B fan luncheon & Daytime Emmys

August 31st, 2009:

The B&B fan luncheon was held on Saturday and the Daytime Emmys on Sunday saw B&B being awarded for get this, "Best Drama". There have been so many complaints about the writing on B&B for years, especially over the last year. For B&B to win that award is going to be an insult for the shows that actually did offer better storylines. Ouch! Anyway, here are some photos from Hunter's big weekend, plus an explanation about something she mentioned at the luncheon.

Hunter at the fan luncheon

Hunter initially disappointed fans when they thought she was going to be a no-show. Soaps.com described what happened and mentioned other points from her time at the luncheon (which I wish to address just below).

"Hunter Tylo arrived next, a bit flustered from a run in with her ex, Michael Tylo. "I got up, got ready to go, got the girls ready to go with their father and low and behold, Guiding Light has a party today also!" she shared with fans. "So their father said it was my weekend: I say it was his weekend. We went back and forth and his girlfriend got out of the car. She was this blonde bimbo ... I know it was all set in motion by the Guiding Light people, so I forgive all you rookies for what you ever said. I love you all and I'm not going to be in 'Playboy,' by the way. I want to let everyone know that. Well, I'm sorry - some guys, who may not like that. So happy to have you for the day and I can't wait to meet and talk to each and every one of you!" Truth be told, fans weren't sure what to make of some of what she said, but were thrilled with her honesty and responded with both applause and a few I love you's."

Hunter looked stunning at the 2009 Daytime Emmys, as you would expect! Two photos are in the gallery: here and here.

Other points concerning a rumor

Some viewers of B&B recently started an online rumor that Hunter was going to appear in 'Playboy', hence her denial at the fan luncheon. This absurd fiction was picked up by her haters and a lot of defamatory comments were made by them in one of their hate forums. In addition, they had complained in previous weeks about at least one photo that Hunter posted in her Facebook, and again the attacks were rife in the forum of the haters. Hunter has asked people to respect her wishes not to copy photos and her posts in her Facebook and distribute them in other places. Her haters ignore that. So the scene was set.

I have so far decided to refrain from mentioning this here but given that Hunter brought it up at the luncheon, and that fans there were not all in the know about where all this came from, I will explain it a bit if it helps some. Hunter's response to the rumor and complaints about the "offending" Facebook photo was to have a laugh at it all in her Facebook last week. What else can you do in the face of people that behave in the bizarre manner they do?

Ultimately, the haters were not particularly pleased that a joke was being played on them in the way it was, but some believed it initially and spent several hours discussing it with their vile hate-filled comments over several days, and all for nothing. Hunter had decided to prank them by announcing that she is going to be in Playboy and doing nude mud-wrestling on B&B - and you can imagine how hot the thought of such activities made me ;) Then when it was decided a few days later that the haters should be informed that they had been had, it was quite a laugh for some - just not for others :)

Sadly, the haters truly believe that they can do no wrong and the word "hypocrisy" does not compute. I got into quite a fight with some over the weekend when I called out a small group of Hunter's haters. They tried to make it look like they are completely innocent but I pointed out all the reasons that everything can be traced right back to them from the very start. They did not like that, naturally, and made a topic thread in the B&B official forum that so far runs for 8 pages. I'm famous! Yippee! Not!

I feel sorry for the actress they claim to be a fan of. It truly is the most bizarre scenario and this is why that actress, and Hunter, laughs in interviews and in online discussions and pranks. How else do you deal with it? There is a little insight into Hunter's sense of humor and the bizarre side of her job.

Hunter in mourning

Hunter's mother passes away

August 7th, 2009:

In an update to a previous news post below, it is with much sadness that I can report that, and you may have heard this week, Hunter's mother, JoAnne, passed away on Monday August 3. Hunter posted about it in her Facebook and hundreds of fans and friends have expressed their condolences to her this week.

Here are two photos in the gallery of JoAnne in previous years (JoAnne with Hunter, JoAnne with Hunter and her daughters). I thank God sooo much for the life of this wonderful woman! Readers of Hunter's book, Making A Miracle, will remember Hunter's recollections of happy times with her mother and some of the great achievements in JoAnne's life.

It was mentioned last year in Hunter's forum that JoAnne's health had started to decline. She put up the most amazing fight since then. What an inspirational and truly great woman!

My thoughts and prayers and my deepest condolences are with Hunter and her family and her siblings and their families at the moment. The forum still has a messages to JoAnne board (guests can post there) and people can say something there to Hunter now if they like.

Thank you JoAnne for being such an amazing example of a truly great person! You will me missed by so many people. Rest in peace, until we see you again one day ...
